Love for Our Elders

Love for Our Elders  is a program that encourages growth and kindness by gathering letters for seniors who need encouragement. Students can earn verified volunteer hours by writing letters, starting a chapter at their school, or hosting a letter drive.

• Volunteers:

  • Volunteers must write letters to the addresses of the month in the organization website

  • Volunteers must send their letters and meet their mailing deadlines in order to receive hours and participate in their program

  • Volunteers can nominate elders in their community by completing their form of nomination

  • Volunteers can start their own chapter at their school 

• Volunteers Schedule:

  • Volunteers choose their own schedule.

• Age Requirement:

  • There is no age requirement any one can apply.

• How to register:

  • You go through their organization website and send the letters to the addresses provided in the website

    • MAKE SURE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF ALL THE LETTERS SENT!!!

  • In order to receive the community service hours you must complete their form in their website to verify your hours
